About Hannah Winship
BCCS Dip.AdvCanBhv
Advanced Canine Behaviourist & Qualified Canine Nutritionist
For over 15 years, I’ve proudly taught the Kennel Club Good Citizen Dog Scheme, helping more than 10,000 dog owners and their companions earn their Bronze awards – an achievement I’m truly proud of.
My journey with dogs began with a Rottweiler puppy named Roxy – the very first thing I did after leaving home was to bring her into my life. Though Roxy passed away at just six years old, she was the inspiration behind my passion for competitive obedience and everything that followed.
Since then, I’ve owned and bred Rottweilers and Labradors, competed in hundreds of obedience shows, and earned a place at Crufts in 2017. I’ve also competed in Championship Breed Shows, dabbled in Rally-O and Agility, and more recently found success in Gundog Working Tests. 2023, 2024 and 2025 saw me at Crufts again, this time in The Good Citizen Ring demonstrating Puppy and Bronze classes and taking live Good Citizen Bronze tests, as well as my moment of fame in 2024, being invited to judge the Bronze Test in the main arena.
My hobby is training and working gundogs – especially Labradors. In the winter, you’ll find me out on shoots, either shooting with my dogs on the peg or picking up in a team on a large estate.
